Olympic Wrestler Sushil Kumar Wanted In Murder Case Arrested By Delhi Police

New Delhi: Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar and someone else were captured on Sunday regarding the Chhatrasal Stadium fight case that prompted the demise of a grappler here, authorities said.

Kumar (38) and his partner Ajay, pseudonym Sunil, (48) were captured from Mundka, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) P S Kushwah said.

The case identifies with the May 4 occurrence at the arena in which grappler Sagar Rana passed on and two of his companions, Sonu and Amit Kumar, were harmed after they were purportedly attacked by Sushil Kumar and different grapplers.

The Delhi Police had declared a prize of Rs one lakh for data prompting the capture of Sushil Kumar, who had since been on the run. Another award of Rs 50,000 was reported for Ajay Kumar's capture. 
Prior, a Delhi Court had would not concede expectant bail to the Olympic medallist, saying he was at first sight the primary backstabber and charges against him were not kidding in nature.

Non-bailable warrants were given against him and six others. This came days after a post notification was given against the grappler.

The Delhi Police documented a FIR for the situation under areas 302 (murder), 308 (at fault manslaughter), 365 (hijacking), 325 (causing horrifying hurt), 323 (intentionally causing hurt), 341 (improper restriction) and 506 (criminal terrorizing) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

It was likewise enlisted under segments 188 (Disobedience to arrange by local official), 269 (careless demonstration prone to spread contamination of infection), 120-B (criminal connivance) and 34 (regular goal) of the IPC and different areas under the Arms Act.
